THREE men have been arrested in connection with a spate of burglaries in Dorchester.

The four incidents had been reported to police since Tuesday, February 12. One of them happened in Herringston Road, two in Dagmar Road and one in Peverell Avenue East.

It is alleged that electronic items, wallets, mobile phones, a bag and a jacket were stolen.

Three men from the Dorchester area – aged 26, 29 and 34 – were arrested today on suspicion of burglary and are helping officers with their enquiries.

Dorchester Neighbourhood Police Inspector Darren Stanton said: “I would like to remind residents to remember to lock their doors and windows at night.
