Young visitors to Weymouth Sea Life Adventure Park were delighted to meet 'The Little Mermaid' who came with an important message.

It was made possible thanks to local party and entertainment company Wish Upon a Starre with Abigail Etheridge dressing up as the Disney mermaid princess.

Together with Sea Life staff, she regularly arranges beach cleans locally.

She said: “I’m worried about my sea creature friends and came to visit Weymouth Sea Life to learn more about what I can do to help.”

Visitors can find out more too, by visiting the park and talking to the team.

Whilst at the park, the special guest met the Fairy Penguins – the only colony that can be seen in Europe – as well as younger visitors, who were very pleased to meet her.
