A MULTI-CULTURAL event is being lined up for Dorchester's Borough Gardens to mark World Mental Health Day.
The theme of the day tomorrow is "Mental Health in a Changing World: The Impact of Culture and Diversity".
To celebrate the day the Dorset Primary Care Trust's mental health team have organised a "Feast your Mind" event working in collaboration with Dorset County Council, Rethink, the West Dorset Mental Health Forum and carers' groups in Dorset.
It will highlight the link between mood and food showing how the food can affect not only the waistband but emotional well-being as well.
It will provide entertainment and information for all ages. Activities will run from 10am-4pm and include: Free food tastings - try mood-enhancing foods from around the world.
The creation of a colourful food mandala - a work of art made with food - with The Moveable Feast, a community arts group.
Interactive music from Live Music Now! South West.
Information about food and mood - find out how nutrition can affect mental and emotional health.
