I HAVE just read that Portland Fair is to be moved from Chiswell to behind the pillars in Victoria Square. I think this is a good idea.
What I do disagree with is the changing of the days from around November 5 to end of October.
We Portlanders like our traditions and I don't think the councillors should be allowed to change it.
No councillor asked me if I agreed with the change of dates.
Now that the fair has been moved hopefully it will be put back to the proper dates.
Councillors listen to us Portlanders. We like the fair on or around the November 5.
