Hi readers, it’s Emily and William here talking about going to the theatre.

As we write this, I Emily went to see the Hairy Bikers in Poole last night and it was a-mazing! I wanted to go because I enjoy watching their programmes on TV, and they seem quite interesting and unusual chefs, what with riding their bikes around on tours. I like that they don’t just talk about food, but also the scenery and different cultures.

The show was good because they didn’t just talk about cooking, but how they met, the places they have been to, and how they had some people on stage to be served the food from their cooking demonstrations, which smelt fantastic and not too difficult to prepare. I liked how they said that if you didn’t have one ingredient you can use another.

When I left the theatre, as well as knowing a lot more about them, I felt hungry and happy! I’d also like to see them again, and maybe go on stage, but think I would be too shy and not know what to say.

I, William have also been to the theatre, but to quite a different production, as it was to see a pantomime, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, in Martinstown! I usually take part, but this time I was in the audience. It was really good and extremely funny in places. Everyone acted well and I think it was even funnier as they had to read from their scripts because they didn’t have time to rehearse.

If we could see anything at the theatre, I, William would like to see Cats the musical. We also both want to see the Last Leg, as we like Adam Hills and his humour.
