Train are still running between Weymouth and London Waterloo despite an incident reported at the station earlier today.
Police officers are investigating reports of suspicious packages at three major transport hubs in the capital.
They were called to Waterloo Station, Heathrow Airport and London City Airport in separate incidents within hours of each other earlier today.
A spokesman for South Western Railway said: “British Transport Police are dealing with an incident at London Waterloo. The station is open and train services are running. A small cordon is in place. Exit three, the exit rank on Station Approach and the bike storage area will be closed off until further notice.”
