POLICE patrols have been kept busy searching for missing people and 'keeping a lid' on anti-social behaviour in areas of Purbeck.

According to a spokesman for the force, officers have led searches for people who have been struggling with mental illness and have gone missing – all of whom were later found. Aside from this, and attending the scenes of various crashes on local roads, the Swanage team visited St Mary's School to give a talk to the pre-school class to help with their 'people who help us' topic – where they explained that policing "is not just about coffee and doughnuts".
