ABOUT 100 businesses took part in a window competition.
Businesses put in plenty of effort as part of the contest which was held by Menter Iaith Sir Ddinbych, with the help of town councils and mayors and the Cymraeg Byd Busnes project.
The Prestatyn campaign was led by members of the school council at Ysgol y Llys in Prestatyn.
The windows were decorated to illustrate St David, Dewi Sant.
Winning windows in this area were as follows:
Rhuddlan - first place, Wish Shop; second place, Blooming Gorgeous Floristry and third Williams Estates.
In Prestatyn, 1st place was The Sewing Room; joint second place was Clwyd Bakeries and The William Morgan and equal third place Euphoria and Celtic Cars.
Iorwen Jones, of Menter Iaith Sir Ddinbych, said: "We would like to thank all the businesses for taking part in the fun.
"The windows have certainly brought attention to our towns, and it's great to hear feedback from businesses that have seen an increase in the number of customers through their door as a result of the campaign."
Menter Iaith is a registered charity working to promote the Welsh language and the benefits of bilingualism in communities across Denbighshire.
