Bikers are being offered the chance to improve their riding skills for free at a series of presentations.

Dorchester and West Dorset Advanced Motorcyclists (DWDAM) are inviting motorcyclists from across the county to improve their skills and safety with the IAM RoadSmart Advanced Riding Course.

The free course consists of three two-hour theory presentations by Doug Miners, an ex police advanced driving and riding instructor who is now the driver training officer for South Western Ambulance Service.

It will be the 10th time that DWDAM has delivered the course which is supported by Dorset County Council's road safety department.

Motorcyclists are welcome to attend the series of presentations at the George Albert Hotel in Wardon Hill, Evershot, on April 10, 16 and 23, commencing at 7pm. Although no prior booking is necessary, but the sessions are popular and early attendance is recommended.
