Emergency services were called to the crash this morning
A male cyclist has been injured by a collision with a car on the Granby Industrial Estate this morning.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "We were called at 7.27am, Monday March 18, by the ambulance service to reports of a collision between a car and a bicycle in Surrey Close on the Granby Industrial Estate in Weymouth.
"A male cyclist has sustained injuries."
A spokesman for South Western Ambulance Service NHS Trust said: "We were called at 07:21 to reports of a road traffic collision, reportedly involving a car and a bicycle.
"We attended with an ambulance and one male patient was taken to hospital for further treatment."
The road was closed but has now reopened.
