This was a bustling event, with students from lots of schools turning up to look around business and career stalls all aimed to help young people choose their career path.

Many people headed for the Army tent, set up outside, under the threat of rain. As I entered the tent, I spotted students crowded round a revolving climbing wall and helicopter flight simulator. Here I spoke to Paul Smith from the ART. Paul said: "The event is very helpful for young people, giving them further information on careers. Good weather; good people; hopefully good food, it's all going really well!" he said.

As I exited the Army tent I bumped into a lady with a small Cocker Spaniel. She had been running 'Agility' all morning, giving people the chance to lead her dog around the course.

Overall, the day was a great experience, and very interesting. I take away from it a better idea of what I would like to do for a career after I've finished school and the future beyond that.
