THE Skills Festival in Kingston Maurward College brought in many different retailers all brimming with news about what their career offers.
We met up with Sally who has eight years' experience of being a customer assistant and recruiter in Dorchester's Marks & Spencer.
We asked her what her favourite aspect of working in Marks & Spencer was. She said: "I love everything about it! Especially meeting new people, I came here to spread the word about retailing, but it does get tiring being on my feet."
Marks & Spencer is here today to promote retailing and give students a chance to see what working in Marks & Spencer is really like.
The job is relatively easy to get into and Sally recommends if you would like to have a career in retailing that you should arrange a work experience placement at Marks & Spencer. It involves good communication skills, confidence and a friendly personality.
