A Weymouth coach company has won a national award.
Bluebird Coaches won the medium fleet Coach Tour Operator Award in the national British Coach Tourism Awards.
The prestigious awards ceremony, which took place at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham following the first day of the British Tourism & Travel Show, brought together hundreds of industry professionals to recognise and celebrate excellence and innovation across the multi-billion-pound coach tourism sector.
The annual awards – the only national awards scheme that specifically focuses on coach tourism – were organised by Diversified Communications UK. This year’s celebrity presenter was TV personality Carol Vorderman.
Martyn Hoare, Managing Director of Bluebird Coaches, Weymouth said: "The whole Bluebird family is honoured and very proud to receive this national award. This year we are celebrating our 95th year in business and this award means the world to us all, I would also like to thank our staff and our customers for their support and loyalty.”
