Inconsiderate parking meant emergency services were delayed in getting help to a person who had collapsed in their home.
The ambulance and fire service were called to Rivervale in Allington, Bridport, shortly before 1am this morning.
An elderly person had collapsed at home and Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue was called to assist South Western Ambulance Service.
But they were restricted from getting to the patient.
A spokesman for the fire service said: "Unfortunately, we were delayed due to a restriction in the road caused by inconsiderate parking on a sharp bend. We were then stood down only to be met by the ambulance trying to come past.
"When parking, spare a thought for other road users. Time can sometimes be critical.”
