Two people suffered serious injuries in a crash involving a car and a tractor.
Emergency services were called to the collision on the A37 near Maiden Newton at around 9pm on Saturday night.
A Dorset Police spokesman said two people suffered "serious but not life-changing" injuries.
Two fire crews from Dorchester and a crew from Yeovil were sent to the scene.
Firefighters said they worked with ambulance crew to release two casualties who were medically trapped in the car.
