Police are appealing for witnesses of a crash near Sherborne to come forward with any information or dashcam footage.

At around 5.55am on Friday, April 5 two cars crashed on the A352 at Middlemarsh, near to the Hunters Moon public house.

The cars involved were a silver Ford Focus estate that was travelling toward Dorchester and a grey Volkswagen Passat travelling in the opposite direction.

Both drivers needed hospital treatment for the injuries they sustained but these injuries are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.

Police Constable James Curtis, of Dorchester Police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this collision and I would like to hear from any witnesses to the incident or the manner of driving of the vehicles involved prior to it.

“I would also urge any motorists who were travelling in the area at the relevant time with dashcam fitted to their vehicles to check their footage.”
