SPACES are available for a presentation by Olympic sailing star Joe Glanfield.

The 470-class Olympic silver medallist will be sharing his sailing experience at a talk in a Weymouth store on Monday October 22.

His presentation at the Henri Lloyd store in St Mary Street will be followed by a question and answer session and aims to provide insight for up-and-coming talent.

Glanfield, 28, of Exmouth, Devon, sails with Nick Rogers as part of the highly successful 470 crew, who finished fourth in the Sydney Olympics 2000 and won silver in Athens 2004.

The team have their eyes firmly set upon Gold in Beijing next August.

The evening was initially aimed at sailing cadets in the local area but is now open to all. Anyone wishing to attend can contact the store manager Paul Ormes by email at: Weymouth@retailhenrilloyd.co.uk or by calling 01305 776777.

There will be light refreshment available on the evening and a generous discount on the store's dinghy wear collection.
