WITH most clubs drawing their season to an end the Weymouth and Portland Cruising Association are offering an alternative to the half-term blues.
The club is inviting sailors to join a cruise to the Solent from Monday, October 22 until Saturday, October 27.
Winter events take place at the Royal Dorset Yacht Club on Tuesday nights from 7.30pm. Next Tuesday Ken Lynham will talk about the tides off Portland Bill.
