A 28 year-old man in a potentially dangerous position at Durdle Door has triggered an emergency rescue operation.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said they received a number of calls about a man in a 'precarious' position at the top of Durdle Door.
"We mobilised two tech teams, two fire engines and an officer to assist", a spokesman said.
"Upon arrival crews located a 28 year old man who had climbed over a safety barrier and walked past a warning sign to access the top of the arch because he wanted to "have a look"".
"He could not understand what all the fuss was about.
"Please think about how your actions may appear to others and consider the implications of such reckless actions on resources."
