Eight fire engines were called to a fire at a farm this afternoon.
A crew from Bere Regis was initially called to the fire near Millum Head shortly after 12pm.
On arrival, crews requested backup from more stations due to the fire spreading to outbuildings, as well as the risk of it spreading to a nearby barn.
At the height of the incident there were eight engines, three specialist units and a number of fire officers at the scene.
