A POUNDBURY vacant shop unit could be converted to consulting rooms for a fertility clinic.
The unit, at 5 Hamslade Green, in the most recent quadrant of the Duchy development, would change little in appearance, according to a planning application.
The applicants, Wessex Fertility, say they would fit new windows to make the unit more private if consent is given for a change of use from commercial to a fertility clinic.
Three jobs could be created once the clinic is open.
Comments on the application for a change of use are invited until May 5th via the Dorset Council website.
