Police officers are cracking down on drugs in Purbeck.

On Wednesday, April 3 officers from Purbeck Police carried out two drugs raids – one in Wareham and the other in Sandford.

A spokesman for Purbeck Police said: “Officers found drug paraphernalia but no drugs at the Wareham address. This was seized by officers.

“At the second address in Sandford, officers found several suspected drugs such as pills and white powder. Officers seized a number of items and investigations are still ongoing.”

He added: “This was a positive result with more drugs being taken off the streets.”
