A SUNSEEKER described as the most customised yacht of its kind ever made is in the running for a global award.
M/Y Elysium, a Sunseeker 131, had its upper deck behind the main bridge configured to incorporate a state room, dressing room, en suite facilities and gym.
There is an extended private deck and a ‘skydeck’ with its own external helm. The bow includes seating, dining and sunbathing space and a plunge pool, offering more privacy when the yacht is moored.
Elysium has been shortlisted in the category for “semi-displacement or planing motor yachts” of 40 metres or above at the World Superyacht Awards, which take place in London from May 16-18.
Sunseeker’s bespoke service allows owners to vary the interior and exterior configuration, finishing and equipment.
Sean Robertson, sales director of Sunseeker International, said of Elysium: “Her daring design and craftsmanship epitomise what the Sunseeker brand stands for. Given the owner’s innate understanding of the design process and a specification uniquely tailored to his enjoyment of the yacht, it is by no means a surprise that she has been shortlisted for this award.
“The 131 Yacht has been part of the Sunseeker family since we introduced the model to the current range in 2016, selling five models prior to launch. The strong global appeal for a yacht of this size continues unabated and we continue to see demand from new and existing customers from all around the world.”
