An 11-year-old boy who got stuck in a tree had to be rescued by the fire service.
The lad had been playing with his pals on an improvised swing at Watton Hill in Bridport yesterday when he got stuck, the swing having snagged in a branch.
Pictures from Bridport Fire Station show the tree the swing caught on was on a steep slope.
Realising he was not going to be able to free himself, one of his friends ran to the boy's house to raise the alarm with his family. The boy's mother then called the fire service.
The boy was in the tree for about 50 minutes before crews arrived.
Bridport firefighters were called at 11am.
A spokesman for the team said it wasn't just cats they rescued from trees.
They said: "Once on scene crews used a nine-metre ladder and carried out an assisted rescue with a firefighter. The boy was then left in the safe hands of his mother for some well deserved nourishment."
