I AGREE with Mr Putnam (Letters, April 18) that the lane markings on the Dorchester Football Ground roundabout are dangerous.
Coming from the Monkey’s Jump direction I took the middle lane to go straight on to the A35. When on the roundabout, as I began to move to the left to exit onto the A35, I was shocked to find a car undertaking me. It had obviously been in the left lane which I had assumed was only for Dorchester.
An accident only narrowly avoided.
