TWO MEN have been arrested for suspected drug driving, in connection with the illegal rave which took place in Purbeck over the Easter weekend.
Dorset Police said: “At 9.14am a white VW Luton van was stopped in Studland Road in Corfe Castle and a 42-year-old man from Kingston in Surrey was arrested under suspicion of drug driving offences and released pending further investigation. At 11.17am on the same day a VW Polo was stopped in the same road and a 20-year-old man from Plymouth was arrested on suspicion of drug driving offences and has been released whilst enquiries continue.”
A 21-year-old Gloucestershire woman was arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm during the rave following an alleged assault with a glass bottle.
Meanwhile, a landowner has spoken out about the condition of the land at Wytch. Doug Ryder said: “The field is covered with broken glass, human excrement and detritus.”
