PARENTS who live in the area of Spa Road are being advised to have words with their children before police pay them a visit.
A group of youths have been causing problems around St Aldhelm's Church, particularly on Tuesday nights when a dance class is held in the hall.
Police Community Support Officer for Radipole Steph Weedon said: "People who take part in the dancing are being harassed on their way in, during the class and on their way out.
"They tell me young people have been verbally abusing them and disturbing the classes by banging on the windows of the hall. People should not have to put up with this and we will be stepping up patrols in this area.
"Children have been warned. Anyone found causing trouble will be taken home to face the music.
"I'd advise parents to have a word with their kids and ensure they're not hanging round the hall causing trouble."
