An 18-year-old man was arrested for an alleged drug-related offence after police were called to deal with reports of anti-social behaviour in Lyme Regis early on Saturday (May 4).
Bridport Police said officers were alerted to Marine Parade, Lyme Regis at 2.45am following reports that a 'large group of youths were on the beach causing anti-social behaviour by shouting and playing loud music'.
The group was asked to turn the music down by officers and to leave the area.
The arrest was made as officers made further investigations.
