Rail passengers are warned journeys may take longer or trains will be replaced by a bus service due to engineering works.
On the Weymouth-Waterloo line, work is due to take place in the Winchester and Eastleigh areas over the weekend of Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12. The line between Basingstoke and Winchester will be closed throughout the weekend.
On Sunday, all lines in the Eastleigh area will also be closed.
On both days, an hourly service between London Waterloo and Weymouth will be diverted between Woking and Southampton Central via Guildford.
A revised train service will run between Winchester, Southampton, Poole and Weymouth.
Times of trains will change with journeys taking longer, and passengers should check before travelling at southwesternrailway.com
No major engineering work is planned in the South Western Railway area during the holiday weekend at the end of May.
The company will run a Saturday timetable on Bank Holiday Monday, May 27.
Meanwhile on the Weymouth to Bristol line, buses will replace trains between Westbury and Bristol Temple Meads over the weekend of Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12. Check times of trains at gwr.com
