A group preparing a neighbourhood plan for Stinsford will meet in the coming days at Kingston Maurward College.
The meeting of the neighbourhood plan steering group will be held on Thursday, May 16 at 7pm in the Old Library at the college.
Group meetings are open to anyone who lives or works in Stinsford and would like to know what is going on, or get involved.
Planning started last year on a neighbourhood plan for the area which guides future planning in the parish. It was started in response to what many saw, at the time, as an unwanted large residential development.
The process is running parallel to the development of a master plan for Kingston Maurward College which is expected to be issued to Dorset planners this month.
The Stinsford group is arranging training sessions for member, is carrying out a traffic and wildlife survey and also looking at local housing needs as well as analysing the census for local data.
