The conversion of a Poundbury shop into a fertility clinic has been approved by Dorset Council.
Residents living near the vacant shop building in Hamslade Green said the clinic could create parking problems in their objections to the proposed change of use.
Dorchester Town Council asked for a limit to be set on its opening hours.
Dorset Council planning officers have now approved the clinic which could create the equivalent of three full-time jobs.
