High-fliers looking to join the jet set will get the chance to apply for jobs with the world’s biggest international airline at a recruitment event in Bournemouth.

Emirates is looking for people to join its multinational cabin crew team and it’s hoping to find them at The Hermitage Hotel in Exeter Road on Friday May 17.

Candidates have to meet strict criteria and must be at least 5ft 3ins tall, able to reach almost 7ft in the air while standing on tiptoe and have no visible tattoos.

They must also be at least 21-years-old and fluent in English, both verbal and written.

But for those who succeed the rewards are high with the chance to live in Dubai and a starting salary of around £2,000 per month.

The airline is looking for both men and women to fill the new positions which have been created due to the continued growth of the airline, including the recent addition of new routes on the Emirates network as well as additional aircraft.

He said members of the cabin crew recruitment team will be on hand to answer questions about the role and about what people can exepct from life in Dubai.

Emirates currently flies to 158 destinations across six continents operating a modern fleet of 269 all wide-body aircraft.

The airline is the largest global operator of the Boeing 777 and the Airbus A380 aircraft.
