Weymouth is set for a colourful and explosive bank holiday after it was announced a fantastic fireworks display will light up the skies.

The newly-formed Weymouth Town Council has announced a Mayor’s Celebration Firework Display in the bay on Sunday, May 26 over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend.

The only council-organised display which survived was for the Bonfire Night celebrations on November 5.
