PORTLAND Port has welcomed its third cruise ship arrival this week.
The AIDAaura arrived at Portland this morning, making it the third German cruise vessel to dock there this week.
It was preceded by the AIDAvita on Monday, May 13 and the Deutschland on Tuesday, May 14.
The vessel has a maximum capacity of 1,266, a length of 202.8m and weights 42,289 tons, identical to the AIDAvita.
Both ships are operated by AIDA, while the Deutschland is run by Phoenix Reisen.
44 cruise ships are due to arrive in Portland Port this season, and 11 of them are arriving for the first time.
Arrivals will come from Europe, the United States and Australia.
