Baking professionals and amateurs are being urged to dust off their baking bowls and whip out their whisks for Alzheimer’s Society’s Cupcake Day.
Whether you’re a baking novice or seasoned pro, the charity is calling on people to unite against dementia by baking or buying cupcakes on Thursday, June 13 to raise vital funds.
Now in its fourth year, Cupcake Day has raised £2.7 million since 2016 and this year is aiming to raise £1.8 million.
In the past, the campaign has been supported by celebrities, such as Paul Hollywood, Ruth Langsford and Suranne Jones. Other celebrities will be uniting in 2019 to support this year’s Alzheimer’s Society Cupcake Day and will be announced soon.
