Wetherspoon is planning improvements to its Weymouth William Henry pub.
The company’s other pub in the town, The Swan, has recently been refurbished.
The new application for the Frederick Place building includes revised steps, a new bar, wall panelling and a re-decoration of the interior.
A decision is expected to be made by a planning officer and public comments can be submitted until June 18.
