Police are urging witnesses to come forward after two men were injured in an attack in Dorchester.
The incident happened at around 1.30pm yesterday in the alleyway between South Street and Trinity Street, near to Natwest.
Two men were reportedly attacked by another group of three young men. One victim suffered injuries to his face, and a second victim allegedly suffered a head injury which didn't need medical treatment.
Following enquiries, a 24-year-old man from the Blandford area was arrested on suspicion of affray and is assisting detectives with their investigation.
Detective Constable Emma Swann, of Weymouth CID, said: “We are continuing to make enquiries into this matter and I am appealing for any witnesses who have not spoken to police or anyone with information to contact us.
“I am particularly keen to hear from a man who is reported to have intervened during the incident.”
