A busy road in Chickerell could be closed for more than ten days to allow a new gas main to be laid.
Lower Way is expected to be closed, or partially closed, to all traffic from June 5th until June 16th although there is a warning that the work may have to go on for longer.
An alternative route will be signed using East Street, Potton Lane, part of Lower Way, Rashley Road and Rex Lane.
