We have reached crisis.

The world is struggling to sustain life and each day we are getting closer to the finish line and I don’t mean one with a gold medal at the end.

This is no longer about a distant future but the destruction of the environment.

Sea levels will rise, causing major cites to be wiped out.

More wildfires will take place because of droughts.

Many species that have existed since long before us will die out.

Hunger will take effect which will then lead to disease.

These are facts. Is this the future you want your children to live in?

There is still time for a change. So I propose that wind farms should be placed on the coast of Weymouth and Portland as well as wave machines but also place solar panels around Dorset.

Already some of you might be thinking about the view it might spoil. Well for me that’s not a valid argument to make.

Making these few adjustments around Dorset will benefit everyone through employment as well as creating cleaner energy and helping all the amazing different species to thrive better.

Make your voices be heard and work together, because we need to more than ever.
