Out-of-control bonfire spreads to pile of tyres
Firefighters were called after an out-of-control bonfire spread to nearby hedges and tyres.
Four engines from Sturminster Newton and Sherborne were sent to the fire in Buckland Newton at 1.22pm today.
A bonfire had spread to nearby hedgerows and a pile of tyres. It was extinguished using a hose reel jet and portable pump.
A spokesman for Sherborne Fire Station said crews are still at the scene.
