A missing man from Corfe Castle has been found safe and well.
Roy Davis, who had last been seen at around 11am on Saturday was located in Wareham in the early hours of this morning.
A police spokesman said they would like to thank everyone who shared the appeal and helped with the search.
Roy Davis, who is 81 years old, was last seen at his home in Halves Cottages at around 11am yesterday. He was reported missing at around 3.30pm.
Chief Inspector Alan Setchell, of Dorset Police, said yesterday: “Roy has never disappeared like this before. As he can become easily confused, we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.
“He cannot normally walk for any length of time, but has a bus pass and could therefore have travelled some distance.
“We are searching the area, but have so far been unsuccessful in finding him.
