Hi readers, it’s William and Emily this week, talking about what to wear each day.

As before, we are sitting here on Carluccios balcony writing our article today. It’s rather warm and it is just so nice though, to be able to sit outside again to write our articles after the colder winter months, and feel the sun and warmth.

The thing is, there is a bit of a wind today, so one minute we need our jackets on and the next minute, when the breeze dies down and the sun comes out, we are too hot, and so have to take them off!

We think this is typical British weather, especially this time of the year. When we get up in the morning it’s hard to know what to wear for the day.

Generally it’s colder first thing in the morning, so we might put on trousers, jumper and a coat.

However the last few days, as the day goes on, it’s become really hot and so we’d have been more comfortable in shorts and t-shirt. The thing is, we have gone out for the day and so don’t have time to get home and change.

One solution might be to pack a bag of clothes to change into, if it gets hot. Or to start the day wearing layers, but that can be annoying if you then have to carry jumpers and coats around with you.

We also need to start thinking about wearing sun protection, as when the sun comes out it feels very hot. Also, our bodies are not used to the sun after the long winter, so it’s especially important.

Probably the best solution is adopt a proper British attitude, and just get on with it – but not without a bit of a moan first!
