Vegan statements appeared on the pavement outside South Walks House in time for this week's Dorset Council cabinet meeting.
The words and drawings were all completed in chalk and included statements such as “animals are friends, not food” and “choose life, vegan.”
Few councillors were likely to have seen the slogans as most enter the building via the rear entrance used by staff and councillors.
There was nothing to say whether the street art had been carried out by a group, or an individual.
