DORSET Police Rural Crime Team has warned residents about a vehicle seen in the area in the last couple of days which could be linked to poaching.
According to reports, a silver Subaru estate has been seen in suspicious circumstances around south Dorset and the Purbeck area. It is believed that this vehicle is being used for poaching and associated criminal damage.
A spokesman for the rural crime team said: "We don’t have any more information about the vehicle so please be on the lookout for this vehicle and if it is seen please report to Dorset Police immediately."
Police say if residents suspect a vehicle is linked to crime gather as much information as possible such as the registration number and descriptions of the driver and any passengers and contact Dorset Police immediately by calling 999 if the vehicle or occupants are seen committing crime. For non-emergency call 101 or at www.dorset.police.uk, via email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk.
