A yacht which broke its mooring and ran aground sparked an emergency response on Friday morning.
A coastguard spokesman said the 30ft yacht had broken from its moorings in Portland Harbour and ran aground under the road bridge.
It is understood the boat was in danger of being swept under the bridge, but luckily marine staff came to the rescue.
"On arrival we found staff from Quest Marine had succesfully boarded the vessel and were towing her to Portland Marina," the coastguard spokesman said.
"The team met with the Quest Marine boat at Portland Marina to assist and take details."
