Seagulls in a flap after finding themselves in a tight spot were rescued.
The two birds became trapped between a fence and a summer house at a property in Burton Bradstock today.
They were rescued by Bridport firefighters who managed to manhandle the summer house and move it over to allow the gulls to escape.
The crew came to the rescue on their way back from checking a house in Cherry Tree, Bridport where an alarm had been going off.
A nearby resident heard the alarm and called the brigade as they knew there was no-one in at the property.
A spokesman for Bridport Fire Station said: "The officer in charge checked and found no signs of smoke or fire. A neighbour then approached and said they had a key to access the property. Once inside crews found a faulty smoke alarm."
