A man fell off of the Pleasure Pier in Weymouth while fishing, prompting a response from the coastguard.
At approximately 6.15pm on Thursday, June 13 a man fell into the water from the peninsula and the team at Wyke Coastguard were called.
When the coastguard arrived, paramedics were already on the scene and the man was out of the water.
The man claimed he had fallen in while fishing and he refused any help despite looking cold.
The coastguard said: "He signed a waiver to refuse treatment and was left to go on his merry way."
