NO OBJECTIONS will be raised to a number of Weymouth planning applications by the town council.

At their planning committee on Tuesday councillors voted not to object to applications for the reinstatement of an historic doorway with other alterations to form an annexe at 86 Elwell Street; a single storey rear extension at 11 Overcombe Drive; rebuilding a stable gate pier at Westbrook House, Church Street; the installation of a lift at the RAFA Wings Club, Maiden Street; a first floor extension at 34 Southdown Road; a change of use from a shop unit into a garage at 1a Lower St Edmund Street; a roof extension at 7 Glen Avenue; an internally illuminated sign at 14 St Mary Street; a single storey garden room at 42 Jestys Avenue; a side and rear extension at 31 Kitchener Road and the demolition of a conservatory to replace it with a single storey rear extension at The Cottage, Puddledock Lane.

A final decision on all of the applications will be made by Dorset Council.
