A TEENAGE boy has been arrested after two men were stabbed in Bournemouth town centre.

As previously reported, the men were hurt following an incident in a pedestrianised area of Old Christchurch Road near the junction with Albert Road at 12.45am on Saturday.

A group of four men in their 20s were approached by a gang of teenagers who began chasing and attacking them.

Following the attack, the teenagers made off along Old Christchurch Road in the direction of Horseshoe Common and Yelverton Road.

One of the victims was found at an address in Richmond Hill with a stab wound to his leg and was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening. The second victim also had a stab wound to his leg which is not life-changing or life-threatening.

A 14-year-old Bournemouth boy has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.

Two men have also been arrested after a man was slashed with a knife at the Royal Bath Hotel on Saturday morning.

Two armed response units, three marked and one unmarked police car were called to the scene.

A man in his 20s was assaulted by men who forced their way into his room.

A 31-year-old London man has been arrested on suspicion of affray and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and a 24-year-old man from Bradford has been arrested on suspicion of affray and inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent. Both men have been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
