Traffic delays in Weymouth were caused by a lorry delivering a mobile home.
There were reports on Travel Dorset this morning that the A354 at Boot Hill was partially blocked due to a crash and that a lorry had come off the road.
Although the road was in fact partially blocked, it has now been confirmed that there was no crash.
Instead congestion was caused by a lorry delivering a mobile home to The Kingswood Guest House near Rodwell Avenue.
It was also alleged that the lorry had crashed into the B&B’s wall, but this isn’t true.
The B&B owners had knocked down part of the wall to allow the lorry to reverse into the premises.
